Welcome to Arthritisandjointpain.com. Arthritis and joint pain affects everyone in one way or another. Your shoulder hurts and you wonder if it’s arthritis, bursitis or rheumatism.Or someone you know can no longer play the piano, due to painful joints in her fingers.
We launched arthritisandjointpain.com to take a little different approach to the subject. This is a grass-roots effort. Most of our writers have arthritis. The ones who volunteered to write for the site have attached their names to their articles, unless otherwise noted. Others we hired to research an aspect of one of the many arthritic diseases and treatment options and write it up for the website.
When we had the choice, we hired people with arthritis, even if it was a different variety than they wrote about. Though it is not the mission of this website to “hire the handicapped,” so to speak, it is the mission of the website to provide heartfelt, hard-researched, and hard-fun comments and commentary from those who know the subject best–whether or not they are professional writers.
If you would like to contribute your story or observations, we would be delighted to consider them. Professional editing for articles that appear on this site is available at no charge to the writer, or you can request to leave your article “as is.” You can also choose whether or not to attach your name to it.
